I've been working with computers since the late 1970. Back then I understood them, now I'm not sure anyone does. For most of my life I've made my living programming computers, in more programming languages than I can count. I currently use MS-Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and occasionally FreeBSD.

I came to this site hoping to get some help with a problem with my father's computer, but I posted that in the Windows XP forum.
