I honestly don't know. Is there any website that you can post this to and then give us a link to it? If you can just take a picture of what that boot-option menu that you saw, I might be able to identify what your looking at.

btw...I won't be on the forums anymore tonight. I'll check back in the morning. :)

so I uploaded all these videos of the start sequence to snapfish.com and it went well, but I don't know how to let you/anyone see it? Doing so with out an email addy might be tough?

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I am currently trying to digest the items in the MS help page for the problem. Other than discovering I can access the BIOS screen, whatever that is, I think my true problem may be that I can not get the F8 key to display anything other than the "please select boot device" blue screen with the 1st floppy drive and 3 other cryptic options displayed. Maybe I should re-title this problem "F8 key not working properly"?

Sweet Mary, Mother of God! On about my bazillionth attempt to boot up I got the F8 button to work (I could not begin to tell you how I did this)I immediatly system restored to the year 1975 and blessed be our Lord! It's working! Halleluliah and Holy $hit! Now to clean and update and sweep the caca out of this POS!
