Rumor has it at late September with the flagship FX-8150P at about $300. It is eight cores and is clocked at 3.6GHz. with 4.2GHz. turbo.

Actually you told me that i should get the 1090T because i will not be upgrading my processor for the next 3 to 4 years. I didn't expect it to come at at this time.

I did tell you it would be coming within the next few months, as I've been telling people here. Unless you do content editing, that 1090T should work well until upgrade time.

You should be good enough for the next few years. It sucks that you needed the computer soon, otherwise, waiting would have been a better open. Though, waiting until September 26th is a quite a while to wait.

Yer, also i just chose my year 10 and 11 subjects and in that i will be doing software development(visual basic( and multimedia which is photoshopping and video editing, so i am gonna need the computer. For year 11 i chose information technology which will later lead to IT Applications for year 12, systems engineering which i probably need those cad programs or simulation programs and design and technology. So hopefully the 6 core and 8GB of ram should do the trick and while i try to work out how to overclock it to 4.2GHz or higher.
