Posted Image Only members of the Malware Response Team or Moderators are allowed to help people with logs. Anyone else should refrain from posting to another user's log.


Posted Image When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.


Posted Image Do not bump your topic. We try to resolve logs on a first come/first served basis. By bumping your log you will be pushed back in line due to the new date of your bump.

Hi!

Please attempt to download this utility, and lets see if it enables you to run utilities after you've ran it.


Run exeHelper
Please download exeHelper to your desktop.
Double-click on exeHelper.com to run the fix.
A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.
Post the contents of exehelperlog.txt (Will be created in the directory where you ran exeHelper.com, and should open at the end of the scan)
Note: If the window shows a message that says "Error deleting file", please re-run the program before posting a log - and post the two logs together (they will both be in the one file).

Here's an update on my problem. I can't download and run any programs at all. Also I can't open or run any programs or files from a thumb drive. I don't have the windows XP CD. I can't run system restore from windows. I don't know what to do!! My registry is majorily fouled up.

Would you be able to ask a friend if you could borrow a Windows XP disc from them? As that may provide us with some more options.
