I'm about to restart it after checking my 'play sounds in webpages' and then see how it acts after a restart. I'll then go thru and check all the other problems I was having before and then I'll report back.....fingers crossed. So was the volsnap & Alureon in there with those infections? Would any of those cause the redirects, uncheck my 'sound' box and streaming video not to work?

Alureon could cause that to happen and yes you can remove ESET.

Budapest.......muchas gracias my friend! All seems to be well in the shire. Being in the restaurant, bar & nightclub business I wish I could buy you a pint or three. Thank you very much. What anti-virus do you recommend that I install to try and make sure I don't have a repeat and any advice on daily scan runs would be appreciated as well. Thanx again Bigs!
