I have been curious about Linux for years, and just recently I recieved an older laptop with some problems on the HD. I wanted to put Linux on it. Could someone point me in the right step on how to do the ISO and the different versions? I would like to be able to load it up by turning on the computer with the CD in the tray. I guess all of them are like that.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

The official website for Knoppix is on Klaus Knopper's website, at

Knoppers

Or check Here

I've been playing with the bootable disk for a couple of months, but I won't be much help otherwise.
The only easy day was yesterday.
