I have an old hard drive that I wanted to get some pictures off of. I connected the SATA to USB adapter and everything was working fine, until I tried to view the files and was getting "access denied". I changed the permission/owner settings on the files, but that didn't work. The only way I can view pictures is by selecting them one by one and changing the permission/owner settings, and that would take forever. It doesn't work if I change the settings on the My Pictures folder. Is there anyway I can access these pictures without changing the permission settings one by one?
Thanks for any help.

you need to take ownership. Do a Google search for "Take Ownership "OS"" where "OS" is the OS you have installed on your system.
