BleepingComputer.com: Hijack this log

My son installed bearshare on the family computer. I know it's P2P and it's a nightmare to remove. I did an extensive search trying to find out how to eradicate it, but was unable to locate anything in the registry that was suggested. Following is my hijack this log. Hi,

Please do the following:


Try using Revo Uninstaller to get rid of bearshare

Download and install the Revo Uninstaller

• Double click the new Revo Uninstaller icon on your desktop to start the program
  
• Scroll through the listed programs and Right Click on the program you wish to uninstall (bearshare)
  
• From the pop out menu choose Uninstall
  
• Click Yes to the confirmation dialogue
  
• In the next window select the Advanced mode
  
• Click Next to start uninstalling the program
  
• Answer Yes to confirm the uninstall
  
• When the program has completed the four steps, click Next to allow the program to search for leftovers
  
• Once complete, click Next, then Finish
  
• Repeat the above steps for any other programs you wish to remove.

Please download DDS from either of these links

and save it to your desktop.

• Disable any script blocking protection
  
• Double click dds to run the tool.
  
• When done, two DDS.txt's will open.
  
• Save both reports to your desktop.
