I had the Windows 7 Repair virus. I removed it using Malwarebytes, but my computer is not quite right. All my search engine searches are redirected and I keep getting a Malwarebytes error (error 2) appearing.
I have followed all the 'preparation' steps. See my DDS log below. My Attach.txt file is attached.
Unfortunately I have Windows 64 bit so apparently cannot run GMER, which is a pity because Im pretty sure I have a rootkit or 2.
Please let me know if you require anything else.
Thanks very much, your help is very much appreciated!
Andy

Hi,
The specific Malwarebytes error reads:
[OpenEvent] Failed to perform desired action. Error Code: 2
Another problem is switching off - it takes a while and asks whether I want to force close some programmes. The laptop is super fast and very new so this shouldnt happen.
Any help is much appreciated
Cheers, Andy
