Only members of the Malware Response Team or Moderators are allowed to help people with logs. Anyone else should refrain from posting to another user's log.

When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.

Do not bump your topic. We try to resolve logs on a first come/first served basis. By bumping your log you will be pushed back in line due to the new date of your bump.

Help! My Topic is locked; how do I unlock it? Topic still open and under discussion is locked.

I have been working with Gringo on a computer infection problem. The Topic in the Vista forum is "Yet Another Windows Vista Restore attack", posted under my name; and Gringo has been *exceedingly* helpful. We were getting close to resolving the problem, and when I didn't hear anything for 3 days, I checked back; and the topic is now locked.

I am not familiar with the processes in this forum. What do I do at this point to re-open the topic, and to get back in touch with Gringo? I'd like to wrap this up, if I could. This forum has been extremely helpful; and I appreciate the great response from all of you.

A note in Gringo's messages said that I should "bump" the topic; but I don't know what that means. Please let me know how to reinstate our discussion in that topic.
