These instructions seem a little unclear to me.
These steps are clear:
Right click and run as admin (xp please double click to run)
select lang
click on next
accept the license aggreement
select location and click on next
in autoscan make sure the first three boxes are checked and the box next to the C:/ drive
But beyond that, I'm unclear about the "drop down" boxes. It also appears that a selection needs made as how to handle encountered problems.. such as disinfect, and where these are located.. autoscan v manual scan. Perhaps the GUI has been updated?
Caution this computer may be infected with a virus. Slow computer, MBAM, DDS logs, Cannot run GMER.

Ran Kaspersky. Tried right clicking on report and copying, computer froze. Had to do hard reset. After Windows rebooted, Kaspersky auto started on it's own and apparently log was there, although says last scan was > 15000 days ago. Saved log to Notepad. Did not post log as it is 42.9 MB. Please advise.

Page and program loads seem reasonable.. It appears that Kaspersky found nothing malicious. Still receive virus warning at startup, as well as McAfee install shield warning- also at startup, even though McAfee has been uninstalled and reinstalled. When using explorer, will randomly receive popup to upgrade Flash player.

This warning, which is the title of this thread, appears on this Dell Laptop before windows loads (black screen). I guess it is really only a minor annoyance as all I have to do is press enter to proceed beyond it. It just makes me question why it would still be displayed if there were no infection?
