internet speed?

hey everyone now here it is. I just restarted my acer aspire one netbook back up after about a month. (i have been having some funn with my alien ware desktop). so recently we got a new router which transmits to all of my computers at 150mbps, but on the acer it only shows up as 54. so i was wondering if there was a setting i have to change or what i have to do to fix this if possible. the signal is good. Thanks for your time!
