I deleted ntfs.sys by mistake while trying to manually fix damage done to my computer by the virus MS Removal Tool

Just curious...how do you know that your ntfs.sys file is missing?

There's not much you can do if you don't have the ability to reinstall that file.

Ntfs.sys missing or corrupt error message - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555531

I have this link in my list...I don't recommend it in any way, but you can make your own decistion as to whether you want to try it: Fix Windows XP ntfs.sys Errors Using a Linux LiveCD eHow.com - http://www.ehow.com/how_4690469_ntfssys-errors-using-linux-livecd.html

Are you saying that your system is infected now? What makes you think so?
