Hard drive on my old PC is about to fail. It had 1 GB ram and 37 GB capacity.

I don't know much about hardware so I'm looking for advice on a replacement. I'll reinstall my old friend bf1942, and add a few currently popular games. Thinking $700-1000.

My computer guy recommended:
- Intel i7 + processor
- min 4 GB ram (but I'm thinking 6 or 8)
- Nvidia or ATI graphics card. If you could examine the graphics cards for the links below that would be helpful.
- Any new computer's hard drive capacity will do as I'm only concerned about storing the games.

I want to make the purchase asap but I want to make sure I'm getting good bang for buck.

Please provide some recommendations!

The one from Bestbuy is the best one of all simply because of the dedicated graphics card!

Thanks for the input. I ended up purchasing that one before seeing your reply, as someone else also suggested the Asus.
