Help
Hi,
I'm thinking about reinstalling Windows XP Home Edition on Dell Vostro, but I can't find the Windows XP CD that came with the laptop (I don't even remember if it came with one). I do however have a Windows XP Home Edition Reinstallation CD that came with my Dell Inspiron. Can I use this CD to reinstall Windows on my Vostro?

Yes. do you still have the product key? it should be still stuck to the bottom of the laptop.

Thank you for the reply. I already went ahead with the reinstall. I did check the bottom of my laptop fort he product key, oddly enough though, I was never prompted to enter anything when I reinstalled Windows. Is that normal?
