Posted Image Unfortunately, with the amount of logs we receive per day, the average response time is 5 days. I want to assure you, though, that your topic will be looked at and responded to. So please be patient.

Posted Image Only members of the Malware Response Team or Moderators are allowed to help people with logs. Anyone else should refrain from posting to another user's log.


Posted Image When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.


Posted Image Do not bump your topic. We try to resolve logs on a first come/first served basis. By bumping your log you will be pushed back in line due to the new date of your bump.

I don't think you're still infected, from what I can tell your logs are clean, and the issue you're experiencing is a Windows issue. Which is why I suggested posting in the Windows forum; hopefully someone else will be by with a suggestion for you to try.

Yeah. But ESET Online Scanner should not replace your Anti-Virus program.

yep, we've got Avira antivirus. I was just going to add ESET because it seems to find things that the other scans I do don't find. I guess you can go ahead and close this thread if you like. I'm currently running ESET to see if it fixes that screen saver thing. and if it doesn't, will hope someone else rings in on my thread in the Vista forum.
