Toshiba Satellite A205
Intel® Pentium® Dual CPU T2330 @ 1.60 GHz 1.60 GHz
1 GB Ram :(
32- Bit OS

Hey all,I have been experiencing an annoying problem with vista for the past couple of days. Every time I load it up in a normal boot, the taskbar freezes and the comp runs slowly. Trying to load up task manager took a good 8 minutes and deleting 2.01 GB from the recycling bin took around 1 hour. I tried to load up Firefox and the window didn't pop up. However, it showed it was running in task manager. I am forced to use Safe Mode with Networking to go back on the Internet. I have scanned my laptop for viruses with Avast! and Malwarebytes, but nothing showed up. Can you help me? Thanks.

I think uninstalling Avast! might be the solution here, but I don't know. I don't recall downloading anything that could harm my laptop.

Also, the ram isn't the issue. I have used this laptop for 3+ years now.

Tried all three methods and restarted laptop.
The taskbar still continues too slow down and loading up Firefox doesn't do anything. :(
