When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Hello,
I'm a new member to this forum. I recently had a malware attack on my laptop related to hard drive diagnostic. I followed the instructions on this forum to run Rkill and install the malwarebytes program and running it. First time i was successful in running the Rkill and proceeded to the next step of running the Malwarebytes. I was successful in installing Malwarebytes and after the program came up it was not able to connect to the server for the updates. So I just continue with running the current version and it did find 5 malicious items which i removed successfully. Malwarebytes than required to restart the computer to successfully remove the infected files which i did. After the windows loaded the malware related to hard drive diagnostic came back. Now when i try to run Rkill it says access denied. Please help me remove this malicious infection from my laptop. I can provide with additional information like logs as requested. I will be very greatful to you all.

Regards,
SRND
