Wifi Is Connection But Still Can Not Surf The Net

Wifi is connected with a strong signal but I still can not surf the net I do not know what is up. I had to reinstall windows a few days ago router is a Dlink DIR-815 using a Amped UA600 usb apater to connected to wifi. I hooked up this usb adapter to another computer it can connect just I tryed a latop with wifi it connects to just I have no idea what is up anybody have any idea what is up??

Can you ping google.com via command prompt then type in ping google.com
My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

What happens when you try and browse?
My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

When I use any browser no website will load I can not even access the router

Are the browsers set to offline mode?

I do not think so I am wired with a cable to the router now & surfing the net with no problems

Does it come with any firewalls or security applications?

I got it working now I changed a router setting to TKIP I guess the usb adapter did not like the security setting
