When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

a few days ago I noticed it had been running slower. I ran Malware bytes 3 "infected" items came up. got rid of them. Next I noticed when I googled things and clicked on the results I'm getting sent to weird websites and ads. I was reading about this and am not sure what to do. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it. The operating system is Windows Vista

Use this first http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner Top right hand side for Latest version.

http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/download/

That will find it, you have to hunt it down, this anti-malware only gives free scans.

Please be careful what you delete, if it Microsoft do not touch it.

thanks for your quick response! I ran the CCleaner. But im a bit confused about what items I should delete from the Spyware Tools scan.
I deleted the first item, "C:\WINDOWS\SYSWOW64\ATL7132.DLL"
I couldnt find the second one "MRCU mail.ru"
and I'm not sure If I'm suppose to delete the rest.

Get MOD help with this one, I cannot tell you what you should and should not delete. Messing with the registry is always a MOD help thing. The Cookie is nothing.
