Virus Removal Tools What are some of the best tools for removing a virus?

Hello to all I have been having a lot of computers on some of the networks that we support that have been getting infected with different types of viruses lately. Just would like to know some of the better tools to use for removing viruses. The last two computers I could not get rid of the problems. And also I am interested in some of the steps that should be taken first in removing the virus (besides backing the computer up!). I am new to IT support and am trying to learn as much as I can as fast as I can.
