When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Girlfriend had some recent issues with her computer over the weekend while I was away. It looks like everything is cleaned out, but I want to be as certain as I can before I let her back on the thing with any possible sensitive data (email and such). Had a weird issue where it looked like windows rolled back to an old restore point, and all of her old pictures and desktop items vanished but I found them after un-hiding all the files. The fact that previously visible files were now tagged as hidden was a red flag to me. I am afraid I no longer remember the name of the program that started it all but nothing has shown up in either Malwarebytes or AVG.
