I have used the Norton Internet security program and anti-virus anti-spy ware for the last year. The personal information security part of it was pretty easy to use and I have all my user names and passwords for all my important sites in it. Now that my year is up I can no longer access my passwords without paying for another year. Since I've had a lot of problems with my email accounts getting hijacked and virus and Trojans infecting my laptop that Norton didn't catch or find I don't want to waist the money on them for another year and have gone to AVG. I did download a copy of my security file before it expired but its a .NPM file and I cant find any way to read it. Does anybody out there know where I can get a reader or some way to convert the .NPM file to something that I can read?

The .NPM file is a profile used by Norton Internet Security Suite as an identity safe profile. I checked at the Symantec web site and found a couple of topics asking similar questions, although they were still using Norton Products. As a safeguard, instructions are being sent privately rather than posted in public as discussed here. As such you probably need to check with the Norton folks yourself.
