USb 2.0 port not working as 2.0

I would see if you have the latest updates, because you do not have SP2 for Windows Vista.
My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

do i need to somehow update it to sp2 in vista? will that harm anything that's not compatible in sp2?

It shouldn't harm anything just make sure all your drivers are updated first.

ok, so i got a question about it.. does updating a single usb port in the device manager, updates all those ports that i didn't update?

It should update them all.
