USb 2.0 port not working as 2.0

ok.. long time no post i see..hehe..

can just the mods have a general QnA thread on general topics?to minimize threads that can be answered directly... just a suggestion..

Mod Edit: All the forums are Q&A...what would be the purpose of a separate thread within a forum, in your opinion? Situations that seem simple...often are not such...I believe the current forums bear that out ~ Hamluis.

anyways, back to the topic, how do usb 2.0 work? and can you use the 480Mbps transfer speed of it?

i have a usb 2.0 port and a hi speed external HDD.. whenver i transfer some bigfiles on my HDD, it seems that the speed

transfer rate is just on 20Mb/s rate.. does anyone there exp. like this?

Is your external enclosure USB 2.0 compatible?

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

i think? ive somehow researched small info about it.. and at my HDD box,it has a hi speed usb logo.. is that what you mean?
