my onboard audio crapped out on my motherboard and i need a sound card. my ? is this.....do all sound cards come with a connector for a video cards audio. i have video cards that require a 2 pin connector to the video card and a 3pin connector to the motherboard. well thats how it is set up now anyway. the 2/3 pin adapter cable has an extra white odd shaped 2 pin connector as well, that i dont currently have to use. the 3pin connector has 4 holes and one of them is blocked or not useable. the blocked hole is not on the end of the plug either. it has 2pins a space and then another pin. i have been researching audio cards and cant seem to find one with these connectors. i either see straight 4pin or straight 2pin connectors. suggestions please!!
