When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Hey,

Basically I had one of the virus/malware that pretends it's an antivirus scanner and flags up thats loads is wrong, I ran Malwarebites anti malwear and spybot search and destroy both of which found things and seemed to solve the problem, however I have now noticed that occasionally when I google search and click on a result that it'll take me to an unrelated site (usually blinx.com)

Also, Firefox seems to hang and say not responding alot, wlthough when I click exit it manages to sort itself out, I presume that these are some after effects of the infection meaning I've not removed it fully and/or correctly.

Thanks
