Forum Rules

When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

If you have posted a topic in Am I infected? What do I do?, and have not received a reply in three (3) days, please post here with the URL to your topic (found in the address bar at the top of your web browser). Someone will be along to help you ASAP.

  • Please do not PM any helper asking them to look at your topic.
  • Please post in this topic only once. We'll get to you as fast as we can.

You are replying to the wrong topic. This topic is only for posting links to a topic in AII that has not been responded to for 3 days or more and for which you still need help.

As for attachments, the AII forum does not allow them. The log forum DOES, and that topic is here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic448664.html

That said, it is best to copy and paste the logs in the reply unless otherwise requested. It makes it easier for your helper.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.
