CD Drive xpro operating system My CD Drive does not read cd's or dvd's

Hi I am not sure why my cd drive does not read, I suspect a virus/ I googled this prob and there are programs that claim to fix this problem, but I was hoping that maybe on this forum has had and solved this problem,

Can you please tell us EXACTLY what your problem is and what led up to it?
