MSI A6000 - 029US laptop with Windows 7. Turned it on this morning and got a black screen with white font stating computer needed a system restore (I think it said system restore but I wasnt paying attention). The system restore was recommended and was going to start automatically soon. At the 27 second mark I told it to go ahead with a system restore. The computer froze at 27 seconds. Eventually the screen became fuzzy like an old TV on rabbit ears. After an hour, I turned it off.
Now all I get is a blank screen, no cursor, no prompt, no blue screen, no flicker. The power light is on, its getting warm (normal temperature), the fan is running.
I tried turning it off and on plugged into AC. I tried turning off and on unplugged from AC. I plugged in an external monitor and it just says no signal.
Thanks for any help.

Please take notice. Oreo and I will not be available until June of 2012.
Thank you for understanding my absence, it is job and college related, so all is good. If I do not answer your PMs this is the reason why. See you all soon!

I really hate to suggest this but I think your best bet is to have this laptop serviced by a qualified service center.
I am not usually one to simply suggest this, but I have tried to find decent support for MSI brand computers but I will be the first to say that their product support really stinks!
Devices that use multiple product numbers for the same device makes doing research rather tough to do.
An example is your laptop is referred to as A6000 - 029US BUT it is also referred to as the CR600 such as the device listed here: http://www.msi.com/product/nb/CR600.html#/?div=Driver&os=Win7%2032
So which number is it, A6000 or CR600?
There is a total lack of available documents, such as owners manuals, let alone no service manuals, these make it completely impossible for me to use my knowledge and know-how with no service data available to use as a reference.
Sorry that I am at a total lose here with this particular laptop.
