except that I am running Windows 7 64bit professional. I have tried:
1.
startup repair
2.
system restore
3.(command prompt)
chkdsk /r on all partition
5.
bootrec /fixmbr
and repair system with the windows 7 installation cd.
I have now used TDSSKiller (from Kaspersky) to get rid of the virus. Unfortunately, this made my computer not boot. After hours of rerunning bootrec to rebuild the bcd and fix the mbr, my computer miraculously started booting again. I have switched antivirus software and have run Avast and windows defender which both removed a few viruses. I am currently running a boot scan with avast, and next will run a usb boot disk to run a scan from Antivir. Is there anything else I should be doing?
