My Presario CQ56 is having issues starting up!
When I turned it on a window popped up named "windows error recovery" with in that it says

"windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

IF windows files have been damaged or configured incorrectly, startup repair can help diagnose and fix the problem. if power was interrupted during startup, choose stat windows normally."

The two options i have are launch startup repair or start windows normally. if i do start windows normally it goes to a blue screen with sun rays shining down from the top. when i did launch startup repair it went to the same screen but after a while a repair window opened and started its thing. It did this literally for days and did nothing else.

Please, ask you parents what led to this situation.
Happened all of sudden?
Any recent changes to the computer?
Possible infection?

My dad Said that my niece was playing a game online. a while later they came back to use it and it was on that screen I described before. not really any changes recently. I installed avast and malwarebytes on it about a month ago. I guess it could be an infection. If it is I dont know how I am going to get rid of it.
