I downloaded something that was a virus. Don't know what. Norton didn't pick up anything. Everything was fine for a while then I started having problems. Adobe kept asking for permission to run something, and I kept getting messages saying I needed to shutdown. I quickly opened Malwarebytes, and ran it. I removed the virus, but it deleted everything except a few folders. My entire desktop is empty. As I said before a few emty folders is all that's left in my programs. When I go to uninstall it says everything is still there though. I can still access certain programs. Like Malwarebytes. I can't directly open it, but if I left click something and click scan with malwarebytes I can access it. I can't do a system restore. All the restore points are deleted. Is there anything I can do? Should I just restart and install everything again? Help would be appreciated.
