Hi guys. Found myself infected with the MS Removal Tool virus last night. I'm running Windows 7 64 Bit on mypc.

I googled for help and stumbled across a step by step removal guide on this site I followed it but found that it didn't work once I rebooted.

I think the problem may have been when I ran RKill. It only ran for a few mins and then said the process was terminated my RKill or something else. Think it mentioned something about WOW64 and Runonce. Not sure what those are. I tried the different versions of RKill - explorer, iexplorer, Userinit and winlogin. All did the same.

I then ran Malwarebytes which did find a few things and removed them but once I booted into normal mode it was still there.

I'm at work right now, so I can run DDS later and add those logs if need be, just wondered if anyone could advise on the RKill issue as I'm wondering if that did fail which is why MS Removal Tool is still there.

Thanks guys.

I think I may have got it! I actually ran Rkill in normal mode instead of safe mode and it worked, odd.

Ran Malwarebytes and nothing was found.

So I just ran DDS. Here is what it found:
