When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

I have a HP DV5 laptop. Windows Vista SP2. 2GB RAM 153 GB of 222GB free. I was told it had some issues. So here I go. I know the Firewall and anitvirus were never configured. I just need to know where to start?

Thanks.

What kind of issue are you having?
Regarding your question how to configure/check the firewall and antivirus, you can check out the control panel and look for security center under security.

Sorry I wasnt clear. The person before me said they never did that. She also stated is was done automatically because of Vista.... lol. Im just wondering if its worth it. Im seeing 17 adapters connecting to my LAN. Her network is called "Workgroup" She cant even change of the settings because I think she got botted or hijacked or both. If you didnt know anything about computers not saying I do you wounldnt even notice.
Thanks for the help not sure where to start you know?
