I'm not sure what I did but I must have done something because the problem first manifested itself as Windows not recognising .docx or .xlsx documents and asking me to select which software to use to open them with.
When I ticked the box to say "always use this product" Windows recognised them but now they take 30 seconds or so to start up and open a new document compared to a few seconds or less before the problem started.
Any ideas why this is happening and how I can fix it?
