hi i was wondering, what is the best way to put a drive image on the desktop

windows can make virtual drives fine as i have two virtual CD/DVD drives (as in images) in my computer but i want to be able to either have one on the desktop or be able to email one and not the shortcut for one btw!

A virtual DVD drive is basically a loaded image file which is displayed in a manner so programs think it was actually burned on a disc. To use this software, you must select an image file to mount. This file is what you send or copy. To use it on another computer, you must copy the image file (usually .iso, .nrg, or .bin/.cue) to the other computer, then install the emulator software and mount the image.

It is not possible to have an actual drive icon on the desktop.
