Hi,
after a bit of advice, if any one has time amid the current trojan epidemic!

I've a portable usb harddrive unit that was on a pc that became infected with a rootkit trojan (and still is). Now from the infected PC I was able to scan the unit with Dr web and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, neither picked up anything. Both find the trojan on the infected pc but can't kill/remove it.

There are some files on that portable unit I could really do with accessing from another pc, is there anything I can do to secure it? Or prevent cross contamination?

any help/suggestions very welcome.

Regards
Matt
