I downloaded ophcrack and loaded it to a folder named "new folder". I ran the unzip as instructed then later decided to delete it. Unfortunately I now cannot remove the files named BZIMAGE AND GPEXE. Ophcrack was never actually installed so uninstall option not there. How can I remove these files???????
Driving me crazy - and - gas is too expensive to drive.

Hi,
You could give it a try with Unlocker (freeware/legal) http://www.filehippo.com/download_unlocker/

Sometimes a re-boot required after you've got Unlocker to do its stuff before the job's completed.

Hope this helps?

Richard

Error message I am receiving is:
Cannot delete file: Cannot read from source file or disk
for 3 files md5sum. gpxe. and bzimage.
note the period at the end of the file name, also cannot change name etc etc
