Hi,

I hope you can help, i looked through the discussion and know there is a lot of information on the Windows Recovery Virus.
I had the virus which i got rid of with Malbytes. However script errors, hidden files and redirects were causing me a problem, i went to pc world and purchased Norton Anti Virus and used its removal blocker which seems to have removed the virus, but i am still left with missing files. When i start my computer it also say SQLDumper library is corrupt. I have gone to tools and clicked to show hidden system information & hidden files, at first my files came back and were faded grey, now it keeps going back to hidden files and everytime i click 'Show hidden files' it will not stay even when i click 'save' or 'apply'.
I hope you can help, ive got loads of information that i need to keep on the computers. Other than the problems mentioned above i am about to access most programs and internet explorer.
Thanks

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Then post your DDS and GMER logs as a reply to this topic. Once you have done that I will remove my reply and consolidate the posts so that you retain your correct place in the queue.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the reply and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
