It was suffering from frequent BSOD and crashes/stalls. I figured it was hardware failure. I reseated every thing and double checked that it was correct. I eventually had to RMA the hard drive (and reinstall Windows 7 Professional several times).
Following all of that, the BSODs stopped occuring. I could leave my computer on without problem.
Now that the temperature (and humidity) has finally risen on the east coast, the blue screens have returned. Repeated blue screens. May blue screen immediately after logging into Windows or a few minutes afterward.
Is this correlation or can we conclude it to be causation?
If over heating is the culprit, what can I do to alleviate the temp?
