Hi All. Got a problem with my Mom's computer. When started it only goes til where it shows the XP logo and then just shuts itself off. It will boot in safe mode fine. I scanned with Malwarebyte and AVG... No virus. I cleaned the hard drive with CCleaner. And also had it fix registry errors. I checked device manager to see if there were any problems...didn't detect any. It still won't boot up windows. I don't think it's heat because it ran a long time while it scanned for viruses. Any ideas or suggestions?? It's a Gateway about 4 yrs old. Thanks
