When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Hi, and thanks in advance for your help and advice.
I'm new to the forums and have a moderate amount of computer knowledge, so hopefully won't be too much of a pain :).

I seem to have obtained a browser hijack virus. When I search for information using browser searches, I end up on unknown websites that appear to be a variety of promotional sites. I've tried blocking those sites, but there are endless iterations of them. I have Spybot and run it regularly, but it doesn't seem to find this one. I also have Malwarebytes, and it also does not find it. Can you help me eradicate this booger?

Thank you!
Maggie
