I have done everything in the pinned note on logging into secure sites. This computer is XP service pack 3. I recently started getting HTTP 404 messages from my chase.com login. But I do not have that problem with discover.com. Chase said I needed to upgrade the I.E. browser, I was running IE 6 or 7, so I downloaded I.E. 8 today and installed it. That didn't fix the problem. I also get certificate errors for chase.com and when I click the install certificates, it appearently doesn't. My clock is OK 4-22-2011. I have added https://*.chase.com to trusted sites in Internet Options. Still, I.E. says it can't find the website. I also have a laptop Windows Vista, and it will log into and display my accounts on chase.com. Any ideas to solve this problem??

Oh yes, I tried that to no avail. What I did this morning may have fixed the problem. I explored to the 'cookies' folder and deleted all cookies that had anything to with Chase. Then, when I logged in from Chase.com, it had me verify my username and password, and viola, I was in my accounts. So I'm not sure what caused that, but I think the problem went away. Thanks for your reply. Tulsa has sure had it's share of 'weather'. Went thru there on I-44 before.
