Hello, I have a quick question on unhide.exe. Does it unhide OS files like desktop.ini? Because files like these are in many folders and then I would have to do hide them one by one...

Thanks!

Desktop.ini is a system file and the tool is designed not to remove hidden attribute for system files.

Ah, ok. So will it just be Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos, Recently Changed and all the stuff in my user account (administrator)? Also, does it install files anywhere or text logs on my computer? If yes, how do I remove the remnants?

Once the program has been downloaded, double-click on the Unhide.exe icon on your desktop and allow the program to run. This program will remove the +H, or hidden, attribute from all the files on your hard drives. If there are any files that were purposely hidden by you, you will need to hide them again after this tool is run.
Step 17: Unhide.exe

No additional files are installed that I am aware of. Just right-click and delete the file when done using it.

OK, thanks. So just to confirm, it will unhide all these (and all my files inside)

And did BleepingComputer create it?

One more question, sorry: will it unhide any other files, for example in the c: drive?

The length of time to complete will vary. Unhide can take a while if you have a lot of files on your hard drive.
