Looks like some damage has occurred during the attack.

SAS is not a problem, you can delete the actual exe file.

For your printer you should reinstall the software

For bluetooth you can follow Microsoft's troubleshooting guide here

For the security centre follow these steps:

a. Click “Start”.

b. Type “services.msc” in the Start search box and hit “Enter”.

c. Locate “Security Center” and double-click the same.

d. In the “Startup type” list, select “Automatic”.

e. Click “Start” to start the service.

f. Click “Apply” and click “OK”.

Restart the computer and check if the service now starts.

You're welcome. :)

Try this FAQ at SAS to uninstall the program

Microsoft suggest this for the non-recognition of an antivirus

things were ok, but now have failed miserably.

i am replying on my son's laptop as my laptop will now not turn on at all, not even in safe mode.

it did turn on earlier and i was updating microsoft security essentials, then it went off and
now when i try to start it it comes to a screen to start normally or in safe mode.

i tried normally and it just goes to a black screen with mouse.

when i start in safe mode it goes through loads of numbers asking me to wait and then
just goes to a black screen with mouse.

r u able to help or has my computer now died??

looked on internet and tried putting windows 7 upgrade operating system disc and doing
start up repair, but just said to remove any camera/music player and restart. - nothing like
this was plugged in.

also, tried system restore to an earlier time ( i tried 3 different ones) and said
unable to do system restore, unspecified error

This might be saveable if it's just an operating system issue. If it's hardware that may be more tricky. First, have you tried reinstalling Windows 7? You will lose all your files doing this but it should restore your machine. If you keep back-ups then this would be the best way to deal with the problem.

Have a look at the instructions on Microsoft's site (second to last link).

If you want to try and save the files then I have an option for that. Let me know if you want to try and keep what you had on the PC.
