I get pop ups from Channel1Reports even though I have a clean bill of health from Malwarebytes, Norton 360, and Windows Live OneCare. Please help.

Here's the DDS log.

Nevermind. I was able to get the start menu and taskbar to show again so I ran ComboFix. It found a root kit and deleted it. The computer is running great now with no problems.

You should not run ComboFix unless you are specifically asked to by a helper. Also, due to the power of this tool it is strongly advised that you do not attempt to act upon any of the information displayed by ComboFix without supervision from someone who has been properly trained. If you do so, it may lead to problems with the normal functionality of your computer.

However, if you are happy I will close this topic.

Thanks for letting me know :thumbup2:
