Yeah, I know I spelt purchasing and avant wroug, "joke," wrong. I If I purchase advast off their site, I'm going to be downloading it or what? Is so will it be like downloading their trial one. I'm not computer savvy, I'm not up for a task.

Correct, if you purchase it you download the program, then they give you a CD key which they normally email to you that you input into the avast either during installation, or registration. Im not entirely certain where, Ive never purchased it, but you do download it.

They actually send you a specially coded file not a key, numbers & letters. It will have an .avastlic extension.

Good information here.

Really very easy and with easy to follow instructions in the e mail sent to you with the .avastlic once you purchase it.
