You have posted twice.
You posted here citing O/S issues...then you posted a malware log and was directed to resolve your topic in this forum first.
IMO, it should have been the reverse...if you have malware issues. Anything you do in any forum other than a malware forum...is probably a waste of time if you have malware issues that produce effects that you post in the XP or any forum other than a malware forum.
"Corrupted files" is an expression that really connotes nothing...what is more important is how you determined that you have "ocrrupted files" and what might be the cause of your system problems.
As for your inability to follow the suggestions I made regarding replacing possibly damaged system files...that's one you have to solve, if that really is your base problem.
STOP: c0000145 {Application Error}, these types of errors I would like to say I associate with malware, but I'm no malware authority/expert of any sort. If you Google, you will not necessarily find a good reference. Ditto for my C5 errors.
I would suggest that you send a PM to the person handling your posted log topic...and reopen that topic...and worry about other issues once the idea of malwaare is eliminated or confirmed.

Ok Louis I am going to follow your advice and try to fix the potential Malware issue causing the BSOD.
I thought that "corrupted files" was pretty clear, but basically I have 3 files on my desktop that when clicked on come up with a message similar to the following:
http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/cc426/slickg720/CorruptedFiles.jpg
Your suggestions for getting rid of the "corrupted files" seem good, but I don't have the Windows XP Professional CD-ROM. So if there are any other options, I would like to know them, before I have to buy the cd.
Thank you.

Since you have malware log topic properly posted, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a Malware Removal Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the logs you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.
From this point on, the Malware Removal Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.
To prevent confusion, I am closing this topic.
