Hi everyone. I am new to this site and I found it because I had the Antimalware Doctor on my pc and was trying to get rid of it. I googled Antimalware Doctor and this site came up with a guide on how to get rid of the Antimalware Doctor as well as all the cool links and software. I followed the instructions, got rid of it, and was a very happy camper. I have been using computers since the Apple II came out. I was a former paralegal for nearly 30 years but now I am more or less "retired" - I am familiar with software installations and can hook up my own pc but hardware and the integration between hardware and software are out of my league. I have done some programming in the past using Edlin in DOS for a red tide research database in DBaseIII but when Windows came out I was working as a litigation paralegal.

I am very happy to have found this site and I can't tell you how great it feels to know that there is help out there!! I have a couple of friends of mine who own their own computer company who help me out with the stuff I can't handle but I try and fix what I can myself. Last year my pc CRASHED right before my daughter's wedding and I nearly had a stroke since all my writing and assignment work was on the hard drive and I hadn't had a chance to back anything up for a long time due to a personal family tragedy. I was able to get the drive restored and immediately put Carbonite on my pc so I didn't have to worry about that problem again.

My roommate uses this pc for some things but he's a novice and when I got the Antimalware Doctor thingie I was a bit frustrated (to say the least) so I am very happy to have the tools to hopefully prevent that from happening again.
